The F.O.U.N.D.A.T.I.O.N. Method is made of ten pain points that, when trained properly, will build the basis for speaking anything, anywhere, anytime.
F is for Focus: Concentration skills are essential when it comes to speaking publicly. You need to find back on track, you need to keep your eye on the audience, on your content, on your delivery, on the staff, and so much more.
O is for Observation: “Observation is by far the most important skill of a storyteller” – Ariane de Melo. And probably the most underestimated one.
Not only will you have a lot more to tell if you learn how to observe, but you will also gain awareness about how you do the things that you do. Observation will help you pick up details on situations that will make your storytelling richer for the listener; it will teach you how to repeat gestures consciously so that you can re-create them during a demonstrating, among other things.
U is for Uniqueness: Uniqueness is the basis of everything that we do regarding this School & Coaching. Getting people to understand, accept, and use their uniqueness is not only rewarding; it is also what sets you free to become an audience magnet.
D is for Dare: Exercising doing things that go outside of your comfort zone will teach you about your own limitations. We help you gain the courage to do what you genuinely want to do and still be taken seriously for it. Because also daring must come from deep within your personality.
A is for Add Creativity: Music, images, videos. Interviews, props, costumes. What is it the one creative thing that you can add to your presentations that would make you stand out? Not sure? We help you find that out.
T is for Technique: Because it matters. The stage has rules, and to break them, we must learn them. Knowing how to move, stand, breathe correctly, get a lower voice, project your voice, and how to use the right timing will differ you from amateurs. And, believe us, the audience knows.
I is for Impact: And that happens by using emotions, structure, and storytelling.
O is for Originality: Being original can be tough, but doesn’t the audience deserve to see something new? Going through this process of foundation will help you understand how you can be the original that you are.
N is for Nakedness: Vulnerability is a big word in speaking; if you can’t show your feelings, your weaknesses you are missing the chance to connect with the audience in deeper levels. And even if we are talking about professional presentations, at the end of the day people still buy from people.
