Who Are We?

Founded to be a Social Media Management Agency for creatives, Ariadnefaden – or Ariadne’s Thread, in English – found a home among corporations and entrepreneurs, for founder Ariane de Melo saw another industry that could profit more from her expertise as an artist (than artists ever could from her entrepreneurial skills): the speaking industry.

By launching herself as a public speaking coach, Ariane did one thing that changed everything: she listened. To clients and audiences, and figured out that communicating well goes far beyond rhetoric skills, it has to start from within. And that one of the ways to earn the audience’s attention is to delight them.

For the past years, Ariadnefaden has been educating the industry on what performing truly means, but most of all, on how creating an atmosphere with the right storytelling structure can break or make a talk.

Today, we are proudly a Management, Coaching & Entertainment company, helping people communicate their expertise while providing the audience a good time without being unprofessional or throwing a Broadway show.

Ariane recruited talented and committed experts to help you achieve your goals. And we have a beautiful track record of success we are proud of!

“I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something
than educate people and hope they were entertained.” – Walt Disney

Sebastian

Sebastian Leitner is an Austrian editor, a producer and a father with a passion for video storytelling. What Sebastian says about himself:

I’m a 100% indie but professional producer and editor, located in Berlin, Germany and big fan of the Hollywood of the 90s & 00s. I’m what you would call a film-purist. My debut feature “Noseland”, a music mockumentary w. John Malkovich & Roger Moore, premiered at KVIFF, Karlovy Vary in 2012 – also awarded “Most Entertaining Documentary” in the US the same year.

It got me nominated for “BEST EDITING” at IFF Madrid in 2012. I was again nominated for it in 2017 for “Cairo Jazzman”, my second music docu-feature, which premiered at RIFF, Rotterdam in 2017. Both movies were also released to German cinemas. Currently working on my third cinema documentary about female singers in Iran – to be released in 2020. I also teach cinema & TV mastering and hold filmmaking seminars, e.g. on the “art of the edit”.

PENNY1

Penny

Penny Soo is a brand strategist, a circus artist and a speaker. Her unique approach to craft a Brand Story to connect with your audience, unconventional methodology of psychology-driven branding and creating profitable buyer behavior through Storytelling will change your exposure game forever.

What does Penny say about her story? “I can still remember everything like it was yesterday. Watching a woman on stage share her powerful story of overcoming abuse throughout her life and went on to build a legacy.

As I listened to every word she was saying, feeling all her emotions inside me and envisioning myself doing the same, one day. I envision myself standing on the same stage, sharing my story, having an audience devour every word and feeling empowered by my story too. That they would feel the same emotions as I feel right now. To tell them that they are not alone and it’s not their fault.

Our founder Ariane de Melo is a Brazilian award-winning Fantasy author, former actress and Theater director, serial entrepreneur, founder of Management, Coaching & Entertainment Company Ariadnefaden UG, and mother.

She has been working with high profile public speakers for the past years, helping them communicate genuinely and develop charisma through delightful storytelling by using a system created based upon one of her novels. Ariane claims that the power of one’s uniqueness walks hand-in-hand with self-actualization. — and it works for anyone willing to give the imagination a shot.

She gave a TED talk on the topic entitled “Your Uniqueness Lies in Your Dead Dream” in 2020 to explain this very idea.

She grew up in Rio de Janeiro, where she started her career in early age. Ariane moved to Hamburg, Germany, on her own, when she was only nineteen. While fighting to fit in a culture so different from hers, and facing depressive times, she still managed to learn the language, become an official member of the German press, have two novels published, and go back to the Theater to work as a professional performer.

Today Ariane is the mother of a gorgeous boy and lives in Berlin with her family. Her love for the Theater, Fantasy Literature, and Cultural Diversity made her a mix of colorful ideas that might or might not help change a tiny bit of the world for the better, but she sure is going to keep trying.

Ariane about herself: WHY CREATE THEATER INSTEAD OF WORKING IN ONE?

“I never wanted to act for a living; my dream was to be a journalist. I just have always loved the Theater, so much it is even hard to explain. But my passion for the Theater goes beyond Professional Acting; I genuinely believe that the Theater-Work can change people.

Back in Brazil, I learned about Augusto Boal’s legacy, his Pedagogical and Therapeutic Theater got my attention; it fascinated me. But it wasn’t until I came to Germany that I realized I wanted to create something similar. As an immigrant life wasn’t easy. I had to learn a whole new language, adapt to an entirely new culture. I felt lonely and powerless in many occasions; one day I broke completely, I hit rock bottom and believed I was worthless.

That’s when I wrote a Dark Fantasy novel about Dead Dreams – that’s how The Theater Of Dead Dreams™ was born. My book brought me back to life, and I decided I wanted to help other people achieve the same thing. The Professional Theater Industry is limited; I wanted to reach people who don’t even know they need the Theater. So, I created a system based on self-actualization, a way to bring our magic to non-actors across the globe.

It all started with the Public Speakers; they were the ones to show me how much creativity and delight are needed, and how much the Theater can heal. Now we do it with Ariadnefaden™.”

My throat becomes tight, and breathing gets heavier. The problem is I was terrified of public speaking. I was terrified of being seen and heard as a result of severe workplace bullying. Suffering years of bullying had crushed my confidence, so much so that it made me feel that I feel voiceless. But I know deep down that I wanted the same. To be on stage and share my story and message. To empower and give a voice to others. I went home that day, crying as I stare at my reflection on the bathroom mirror. I no longer recognise the fearful girl staring back at me. The girl who was never afraid of big dreams, speaking at big stages and making an impact. The girl who knew that her life is destined for great things.

But that girl is gone. The spark in her eyes is gone, replaced with fear and sadness. It breaks my heart not to recognise her anymore. I feel guilty for letting her down. “This has to stop. I cannot let her down anymore.” But what do you do when you have a severe fear of the stage? You pick yourself up and make a plan. To find the voice and have the courage to dream again, I must do something, even if it means facing my biggest fear; public speaking. That moment, something inside me clicked! I learnt that I need to stand up for myself and being invisible is not an option. Suddenly I feel a spark in my veins to challenge my fear and not let it hold me, hostage, anymore.

Then it hit me. I had the superpower all along and it is the most important thing that would lead me to get me on stage and my message out there – BRANDING. I took immediate action and focused on strengthening my positioning and growing my brand as much as I can, as fast as possible. When you shift your focus from what you fear to what you desire, everything changes. I took my business onto my own social media channels because I want to impact more people.

Suddenly, I was attracting all my dream clients who are ready to work with me because of the brand that I crafted for myself. It turned out to be bigger and better than I thought. I made $1000 in 10 minutes after posting about my program, without a sales call. I went from someone who had lost her dreams, feel invisible and voiceless to someone who helps others to get their message heard and impact thousands of lives. I no longer feel invisible. It gave me more strength than I ever had before.

Imagine this would be you… That you can have everything that you have dreamt of without being someone you are not. Building a brand that I am proud has helped me overcome my limits and become the person that I was meant to grow and more. Through branding, I have regained my confidence, hope and voice. Branding gave me the stage. The stage gave me back my voice, healed my wounds and help empower others to heal theirs. Just imagine how different it would feel for you when the right people hear your message. Your audience would devour every word that you say and feel empowered by your own story.

All the time when you thought that your voice could not be heard, now I give you the brand to step on to a stage and amplify it. You can travel and live anywhere in the world with your loved ones. You can financially support your family and give them the best experience. You can wake up every day filled with pride a great sense of achievement that you have created this life for yourself. You go to bed every night feeling confident and fulfilled that you have created this dream life for yourself and all the people you are helping.

If you are like me and has been through events in your life that makes you feel that your voice is unheard, but you have an important message that needs to be seen and heard, then I can help you. I know exactly how to get you there because I have done it myself and changed my life. Because I am passionate about supporting you to get the results, share your story to empower and impact millions of lives.
